Turning tide is a narrative roleplaying board game that requires no game master to reveal the story to the players. It is a board game designed for playing around a table, but it is versatile and was successfully play-tested in a real-time digital format during the Covid-19 pandemic. Turning tide uses regular playing cards to determine random events and one or two ten-sided dice for percentile rolls. During each player's turn their story moment is influenced by what has happened so far, the random event cards, their choice of optional actions and the resource management situation of the settlement.
