Neela K. Sukhatme-Sheth is a retired pathologist who grew up in India and has lived in England, Canada and the United States for more than forty-eight years. She has traveled to many countries including several visits to Africa. She now spends her time between Wisconsin and Florida. Neela is married to Dr. Kumudchandra Sheth who grew up in East Africa and trained there, before coming to England and the US. Neela blends her East-West experiences with fluidity, so that her short stories span several cultures. Human resilience and empowerment of women is a frequent theme in her writing.
