As a Discussion Guide, this publication is intended to be used by those who are reading or have read the Master, with the goal of benefiting further from the insights and lessons gained on how to more effectively contribute as Conscious Citizens within America's Democratic Republic. The benefits are best gained by first reading the Master Publication.

Then, you should read and make notes in the Discussion Guide of any changes in your previous perspective on "how big a problem" is each of the sixteen topic areas presented following your experience of the reading of The Conscious Citizen. Another approach would be to perform this exercise as a part of a neighborhood gathering or a small, facilitated group during a sponsored training session.

In either approach, you should remember that the objective is a review of the Tough Questions and a discussion of the critical thinking process used by the protagonists, Paul and Paulette, in The Conscious Citizen, as they arrived at their survey responses.

The objective is not to seek any form of consensus, if you are in a group setting. It's all about understanding the thought process.
