She was published in Washington University's Journal, Voices, received the Editor's Choice Award in poetry for How One Poet Found Her Voice, has received special recognition by the American Poetry Society, and her most recent anthologized publication is A Statute in Stardust. The author is a Special Assistant to the St. Louis County Executive, and an adjunct professor at the St. Louis Community College where she teaches Writing and Literature. She is the author of The Little Maestro, Baby Giggles, a contributor to A Mid-Winter Knight's Tale, and has over twenty poems in national anthologies.
