After a disastrous start where he loses his pilgrim passport at Orisson, which forces him to double back, Jordan resumes his journey and attempts to cross the Pyrenees mountains in a single day. However, the grueling trek tests his resolve to its limits with rising temperatures, exhaustion, hunger, thirst, and blisters on his feet.
