Lucy Carson isn't really looking forward to her honeymoon in Summerland. Can she still call it a honeymoon if her fiance left her at the altar? Probably not. To make matters worse, the bed and breakfast won't let her keep her reservation now that she's single.
But the residents of Summerland, the strangely idyllic and drowsy oceanside town, are happy to have her come to visit. And in a town where all the residents are young and stunningly beautiful, there's plenty to enjoy. Things might start looking up for Lucy with neighbors like these, and maybe Summerland is the perfect place for her. If only it didn't feel...too good to be true.
When Summerland reveals an unexpected dark side at the summer festival, Lucy discovers the truth of the town is too big and impossible to be believed.
Is it time to pack up and return home, or are the benefits of Summerland, and the men she's met, worth the risk of staying?
Secrets of Summerland includes the entire Summerland Series as a complete standalone, including the bonus short Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice

This soulful book of personal poetry brought me into the past and into the present---and into my heart.
Read the first book and this 2nd one did not disappoint! Loved every chapter. More please!

Received an Advanced Reader Copy from a friend. I am an avid true crime reader and upon completion I question if the author is credible. The timeline does not add up for his age and the times of his alleged involvement in organized crime. Some of the things in the book he is alleged to have said and done I remember almost word for word from movies I had previously watched. He literally stole a scene from the movie the accountant with Ben Affleck and said that he did it. I did a little research after completing the book and learned that this author was also claiming in 2010 that he was a long time member of the Bloods Gang. That coupled with the above leads me to believe that it is nothing more than fantasy. Do not waste your time or money

What a difficult story to tell. I appreciate the honesty and vulnerability. Definitely made me think.
