A moving, delightful collection of stories that celebrate the canine-human bond.
In this heart-warming work, we reunite with the lovable rescue dog and subject of the cherished book Arthur as he settles into his new life abroad. As we follow Arthur's ups and downs with his owner, author Mikael Lindnord, we also meet sixteen other rescue dogs, each with a surprising story of how they found their forever home. From Ecuador to America, Australia to the Yukon, and everywhere in between, remarkable canine encounters prove that dogs really are our best friends--and that their journeys to find love and acceptance are as compelling as our most famed human tales.
Praise for Arthur: The Dog Who Crossed the Jungle to Find a Home by Mikael Lindnord:
"[A] miraculous tale." --Washington Post
"An incredible journey." --Daily Telegraph
"A heroic and heartwarming story." --Forbes
Mikael Lindnord is the author of Arthur: The Dog Who Crossed a Jungle to Find a Home, which tells the story of how he found an unlikely friend during a 435-mile race through the jungles of South America. Lindnord has been traveling the world and racing in the Adventure Racing World Series ever since he took up the sport as a teenager. When not racing, he lives with his wife, children and, of course, his dog, Arthur.

This soulful book of personal poetry brought me into the past and into the present---and into my heart.
Read the first book and this 2nd one did not disappoint! Loved every chapter. More please!

Received an Advanced Reader Copy from a friend. I am an avid true crime reader and upon completion I question if the author is credible. The timeline does not add up for his age and the times of his alleged involvement in organized crime. Some of the things in the book he is alleged to have said and done I remember almost word for word from movies I had previously watched. He literally stole a scene from the movie the accountant with Ben Affleck and said that he did it. I did a little research after completing the book and learned that this author was also claiming in 2010 that he was a long time member of the Bloods Gang. That coupled with the above leads me to believe that it is nothing more than fantasy. Do not waste your time or money

What a difficult story to tell. I appreciate the honesty and vulnerability. Definitely made me think.
