The poet was born Linda Fay Argo in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She married right out of high school and had two children, Lori Ann Merchant and the now Dana Lynn Ramsey. They are her pride and joy. She started writing when she was twelve years old and then put it away until she was 35 years old when an accident confined her to bed for 4 months. The only thing that kept this go getter from going insane was to write again. She then started publishing in local papers and had one of her poems in the National Library of poetry in 1988. Some of these poems were written 35 years ago in hopes of putting them in her own book of poetry, finally this dream has become a reality.
