Piano ABC's Level Two Point Five "Explorations" may be the most student-friendly book of the entire Piano ABC's curriculum. As each note is individually discovered through interval reviews, word games, puzzles, and a conspicuous visual presentation, it can be expected that these Bass Clef notes will not be confused with Treble Clef notes of "similar appearance." A comprehensive presentation of various note-reading systems is given to further facilitate easy understanding of the logical way notes are written on the Grand Staff and ledger lines paralleling the forward alphabetical progression of keys from left to right on the keyboard. Students are encouraged to choose and use (or invent) a system that works best for them. As indicated by the title, Level Two Point Five should overlap the last half of Level Two and bond with the projects and pieces in the first half of Level Three-A. As always, each student should be encouraged to progress confidently at his/her own pace.
