An unlikely writer to say the least, as a pre-teen, while his peers were reading graphic novels, Mr. Allen preferred encyclopedias. Starting at A-B, he'd study through the entries, often times jumping across volumes to learn the meaning behind a newfound term. Unfortunately, his story was limited to Volume M-N, due to a lack funds at home. See, a local store was running a promotion where each week they'd put the next volume on sale, and the commitment made initially fizzled out about half way through. Thankfully, with the advent of the Internet, he's been able to read the second half of his childhood tale (O-Z). Though he found a living in the world of business, Mr. Allen has always had a love for the arts. Majoring in Art early on, he soon grew frustrated in his physical limited abilities to paint the picture he possessed in his head onto a canvas. Taking to writing like a fish to water, it didn't take long for him to realize that the limitless lexicon should've been his brush and palette all along. The Out of Time Detectives (historical-fiction) is his first series, with Conspiracy to Murder being his first novel.
