The book is an off-shoot from the mother-ship book: It's all about the Music - the A-Z of Music Genres and Beyond, an extensive foray into all the aspects of different music genres of past and present. This smaller specific guide is in fact the second in a series of short guides to specific subgenres, subgenres that have little written about them or are thoroughly misunderstood. The aim of this book, and its series, is to try and educate people, in the hope of changing public opinion about the musical styles being discussed. Other books will follow - as of yet, the next in the series is still to be decided upon. Keep your ear to the ground.
