About the Author
The Sunflowers, a musical duo formed by singer-songwriters Aaron and Julie Harris, have been present for several years in schools throughout the Salon-de-Provence region in the South of France. Their work has focused on using music and sport to introduce young children to the English language. Aaron is a former professional basketball player and graduate teacher from Kansas State University and Julie, who grew up in France, is currently employed as a social worker in the French educational system. Maud Legrand, a graduate of the Ecole des Arts d馗oratifs in Strasbourg, has spent the past 20 years illustrating books for children that have been translated into several languages.
