About the Author
Max Scratchmann is popular comedic writer and performance poet with "the easy style of a practiced humorist" (The Scots Magazine). Michael Dyer has written extensively for musical theatre - nine musicals and original incidental music for a further dozen, to date. Composer of many secular individual and collected songs - educational, cabaret and seasonal, his sacred music output includes anthems, hymn-tunes, carols and festival arrangements. His catalogue of instrumental chamber music includes works for solo harmonica, bassoon, horn, viola and for both alto and tenor saxophone. He has also penned a large collection of small jazz band pieces - both original works and arrangements of well- known standards. Michael has written music for both British and European radio. Four Songs of Love is the first collaborative venture between Michael and Max Scratchmann.
