This book has been derived from pictures created and a story written over a century ago. The text was written by Eden Coybee, and the illustrations drawn by Nellie Benson.

These beautiful illustrations, and wonderful story have been brought back to life by Richard Hargreaves, and IRONPOWER PUBLISHING.

The original watercolors (shown on the back cover) have been rendered into black and white line drawings, for colorists to release their own creativity. The originals are shown for inspiration, and to help determine the colors of the various species of flowers, for those not familiar with them. Of course you are free to let your imagination run wild and make the flowers, and fairies, any color your heart desires Following each Flower Fairy picture is a picture or two of the flower on its own.
