I don't remember what we were talking about, but my Granddaughter Kaity, her dad and I were talking about something and she said "There's always a story isn't there Bumpa." Upon reflection on that simple statement, I said, "Yes. There is." The more I thought about it, the more profound it became. There is always a story. A family story. A friend's story. A stranger's story. Just something wandering around your head. But what do we do with them. Hopefully family stories we tell the next generation so it can be passed down. Some just drift off in never, never land, maybe to be told by someone else. But those bouncing around in our heads we need to put down on paper, to share.
