The book presents a compilation of four internationally published researches considering the topic of energy performance modelling of office buildings with the application of dynamic energy simulation engines (EnergyPlus, Radiance). Within the investigation methodology various heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems were simulated with the goal to determine the most energy efficient solution according to the exact climate conditions. Furthermore advanced illumination analysis was applied in order to investigate indoor natural lighting performance with the aim of building envelope performance enhancement while achieving indoor environmental quality.
