Very few people in coventry knew anything about the manufacture of cartridges in Coventry. I eventually found several old timers that had first hand knowledge of the cartridge factory which burned down in the early 1920's.

The best sources for information of the south coventry cartridge manufacturers were the coventry land records and the newspaper files of the "Willimantic Chronicle."

With all this new information, and with access to many cartridges and boxes, I decided to put it all in book form to give coventry the recognition it deserves for ammunition manufacture and share the information with fellow collectors.
