Cuba proves to be as outstanding a venue for bonefish, tarpon, and permit, as it is a venue for mystery and intrigue. For the first time in their many adventures, no one appears seriously interested in killing either of them. But they become increasingly involved as more murders are attempted or completed. Both are enamored by the beautiful island, but perplexed by the paradoxes that Cubans face in their lives.
