The second story is a childhood memory of an adventure to the movies with the Reed's family's domestic help and her cousin. The adventure opens her eyes to life beyond her immediate environs where they encounter a treasure that left a lifelong impression on Reed.

Reed and her family celebrated the 100th year of their summers in Wisconsin in 2019, proving there will always be Another Last Summer.
